Silvano Painting Inc. : About Us

Silvano Painting Inc. is a family-owned business that started in 1988 by Richard E Silvano Jr. in the Berkshires, MA. Richard started in the painter’s union and then union apprentice program. Then moved forward to a school specializing in teaching wallpaper hanging.

Originally starting to be a paper hanger and eventually grew into a residential painter. Commercial work came soon after taking the primary focus around 1991. Richard’s son, Ricky E. Silvano III and father, Richard E. Silvano Sr came on board to help handle work and further the business.

We honor Richard E. Silvano Sr who was a Marine Corp veteran and an inspiration in following our passions.

Richard E. Silvano Jr’s wife, Paula Silvano handles the bookkeeping and paperwork.

We honor the memory of Richard Jr’s son and brother to Ricky, Ryan Silvano who was an instrumental member of this business and most importantly, our family. Ryan ran jobs individually and specialized in the residential portion of our business and restoring exterior wall graphics.
